Eligibility Criteria for YIL Trade Apprentice 2026

Educational Qualification

1. Non-ITI Candidates:

  • Must have passed Class 10 (Matric/Madhyamik) with at least 50% marks overall
  • Minimum 40% marks in Mathematics and Science

2. Ex-ITI Candidates:

  • Must have completed a relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT-recognized ITI institute with minimum 50% marks
  • Must also have passed Class 10 with at least 50% marks

Important: Candidates appearing in exams or awaiting results are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on 03/03/2026)

  • Minimum Age: 14 years (18 years for hazardous trades)
  • Maximum Age: 35 years
