IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), a branch of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), is seeking applications from skilled and enthusiastic individuals for the position of Proficiency Trainees (Paramedics). The engagement is on a temporary basis at the ISP Hospital, Burnpur, which is a 336-bedded multi-specialty hospital. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have recently completed their diploma or degree in various paramedical fields and are looking for hands-on experience in a public sector healthcare setting.

5. 25 position available for Dental Assistant / Operating Room Dental Support Staff.
6. Physiotherapist – 30 Post
7. Audiometrist – 30 Post
8. Critical Care Technician – 20 Post

Eligibility

Age Limit (as on 19 April 2025):

Educational Qualifications:

• General: Not more than 35 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Not more than 38 years

Candidates must have completed a diploma or degree in the relevant paramedical field from a recognized institute. Detailed qualifications for each post are as follows:

• X-Ray Technician: 10+2 with Diploma in Medical Radiology Technology (2 years); preference for candidates with CT/MRI experience.
• Pharmacist: Passed 10+2 and holds a Diploma in Pharmacy; registration with the Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
• Pulmonary Function Test Technician: 10+2 with Diploma in PFT Technology (2 years).
• Dental Hygienist: 10+2 with Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
• Dental Assistant / Dental OR Assistant: Completion of 10+2 along with a recognized Dental Assistant certification; registration with a Dental or Paramedical Council is required.
• Physiotherapist: 10+2 with Diploma in Physiotherapy (2 years). Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy is desirable.
• Audiometrist: 10+2 with Diploma in Audiology (2 years); Bachelor’s degree in Audiology is desirable.
• Critical Care Technician: 10+2 with Diploma in Critical Care Technology (2 years) and 1 year post-qualification experience. A degree in Critical Care Technology is desirable.

Only Indian nationals who have completed the full duration of the courses from government-recognized institutions are eligible.

Salary

Remuneration will be paid on a consolidated basis, including allowances, based on minimum 48 hours of work per week.

• For posts at Sl. No. 1 to 7:
  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 10,000 per month
  • Allowances: Rs. 7,020 per month
  • Total: Rs. 17,020 per month
• For Critical Care Technician (Sl. No. 8):
  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 17,980 per month
  • Allowances: Rs. 7,020 per month
  • Total: Rs. 25,000 per month

Note: Salary is subject to actual attendance. If weekly hours are less than 48, remuneration will be calculated proportionately.

Selection Process

Selection will be through a walk-in interview only. Candidates must report to the venue on the scheduled date within the specified time. The interview will evaluate the candidate’s credentials, professional background, and overall fit for the position.

Shortlisted candidates will be engaged as Proficiency Trainees on a temporary basis, subject to medical fitness and verification of documents.
