Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • B.E/B.Tech or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or institution.
• Desirable:
  • M.E/M.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or institution.

Work Experience: Applicants must have substantial experience in design and drawings of electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects such as metros, railways, or other major construction works. Candidates should be proficient in ECS (Environmental Control System), TVS (Tunnel Ventilation System), and E&M (Electrical & Mechanical) systems.

Eligibility Based on Pay Scale (CDA & IDA):

• CDA Pay Scale Criteria:
  • Executives working in Level-12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200) or Level-11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700) of the 7th CPC.
  • Should have a minimum of 7 years of service at Gazetted/Executive Level in any government organization or PSU, including deputation service.
• IDA Pay Scale Criteria:
  • Executives working in the IDA pay scale of ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000 (Revised) or ₹29,100 – ₹54,500 (Pre-revised) with at least 7 years of service in a Gazetted/Executive role.

Job Responsibilities

As the Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer/Design, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing, reviewing, and managing electrical designs, drawings, and other related documentation for ongoing and upcoming metro infrastructure works.
• Ensuring optimization and efficient implementation of E&M systems, VAC (Ventilation & Air Conditioning) systems, and other electrical components.
• Working with the latest design software to produce precise and effective design solutions.
• Coordinating with other engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project timelines and quality standards.

The candidate must have a strong background in electrical engineering with a hands-on approach to modern design software and tools.
