Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Professors (General Criteria)

• A Master’s degree in the relevant or related discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
• NET/SLET/SET is the minimum eligibility requirement.
• Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
• A 5% relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/PWD candidates and those who obtained their Master’s prior to 19 September 1991.

• BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant branch with first class either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech (for S.No. 1 to 5).

For Guest Faculty (Law Department)

• Advocates with 10 years of standing at the Bar.

Specific Subject Requirements

• Remote Sensing & GIS: Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing & GIS or related subjects with PG Diploma and NET/SET.
• B.Ed. in Bhaderwah Campus: Postgraduate in Social Sciences/Education with M.Ed. or B.Ed./B.El.Ed.
• Yoga: Master’s in a relevant subject with NET/SET/Ph.D. as per UGC norms.

Selection Process

For Guest Faculty in Law, the selection criteria differ and include marks for legal experience, teaching as advocate, and interview.
