TNPSC Group IV Services 2025: Apply for Combined Civil Services Examination

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the notification for the Combined Civil Services Examination – IV (Group IV Services) 2025, as per dated 25.04.2025. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Junior Assistant: Must have passed the 12th Standard Examination from a recognized board.
• Bill Collector: Must have passed 12th Standard Examination or an equivalent qualification.
• Typist: Must have passed the 12th Standard Examination with a Government recognized typing qualification in Tamil and English.
• Steno-Typist: Must have passed 12th Standard Examination with shorthand and typing qualifications.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age:
  • For General category: 32 years
  • For reserved categories (SC, ST, BC, MBC, etc.): 37 years
  • For PWD candidates: 42 years

Other Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil to apply.
• Physical fitness criteria apply as per the respective posts.

Pay Scale

The remuneration scale of the jobs is different as per the particular job and the duty assigned:

• Junior Assistant: INR 19,500 – 62,000
• Bill Collector: INR 19,500 – 62,000
• Typist: INR 19,500 – 62,000
• Steno-Typist: INR 19,500 – 62,000

Selection Process

1. Written Examination: The test will consist of objective-type questions.
