Eligibility Criteria

1. Engineer (D) [Mechanical]

• Educational Qualification:
  • M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering with minimum 60% marks
  • Alternatively, a Ph.D. with cutting-edge expertise in advanced machining technologies and CAD/CAM/CAE systems will qualify
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years in managing a modern Machine Shop/Tool Room
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Precision Machining using multi-axis CNC machines
    • CAD/CAM/CAE software
    • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
    • Quality Control using CMM
    • Production Planning, Welding, Fixture Designing
• Desirable:
  • Knowledge of e-procurement portals like GeM
  • Experience with public/global tendering
  • Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of 01 January 2025 (Age relaxation as per Govt. norms)
• Mode of Recruitment: Personal Interview

2. Scientific Assistant (B)

• Educational Qualification:
  • A degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering with 60% or above
  • Candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university, or hold a B.Sc. degree with at least 60% marks in Physics, Electronics, Applied Physics, or Electrical-related fields.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years in electronics (Digital/Analog Electronics, board troubleshooting)
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and programming platforms such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi is desirable
• Desirable:
  • Familiarity with software tools like LabView, Python, and C
  • Expert in installing, operating, and maintaining electrical and vacuum systems at peak performance
  • Willingness to handle lab-related purchases and administrative work
• Age Limit: Candidates should not be older than 28 years as of January 1, 2025.
• Mode of Recruitment: Selection will be through a Written Test and Interview, or Personal Interview alone, depending on the number of eligible applicants.

3. Library Trainee

• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate degree (preferably in Science)
  • B.Lib. from a recognized university/institute
  • Candidates who have appeared in the final exam of B.Lib. can also apply
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on January 1, 2025
• Mode of Recruitment: Written Test and Skill Test
