  • Job Location: NHSRC Headquarters, New Delhi.
  • Nature of Appointment: Contractual (with an initial contract till 31st March 2027, subject to satisfactory performance)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Experience:

  • For candidates with an MPH/MBA in Healthcare, at least 5 years of post-PG work experience is required.
  • For candidates with an MD in Community Medicine, 3 years of post-PG work experience is required.
  • The applicant should possess experience in areas such as the National Health Mission, national health initiatives, healthcare planning, policy development, system strengthening, or healthcare administration.
  • At least 2 published articles in indexed journals are required.
  • Demonstrated experience in public health system strengthening, data analysis, and capacity building at the district, state, or national levels.
  • Language Requirement: Strong command of both English and Hindi is mandatory for effective communication.
  • Candidates with prior experience in working on public health systems at the field level, participatory planning, PIP appraisals, and other health-related activities will be preferred.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working for similar health programs at the national or state level.
  • Background in delivering primary or secondary healthcare services at the district level.
  • Desirable Qualification: Background in research or expertise in data analysis, especially within the domains of public health and healthcare systems.
  • Experience with government health systems or technical support bodies would be a strong advantage.

Salary and Benefits

  • Remuneration: The salary for the Senior Consultant position will be in the range of Rs. 90,000 toA monthly compensation of up to ₹1,50,000, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Selection Process

  3. Final Selection: The candidate will be selected based on their performance in the interview. The selected candidate will be offered the contractual position of Senior Consultant – Public Health Administration.
