SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment 2025–26: Apply for Wealth Management Posts

State Bank of India, one of the largest and most prestigious public sector banks in the country, has announced a major recruitment drive for Specialist Cadre Officers on a contractual basis for the year 2025–26. This recruitment is aimed at strengthening the Bank’s Wealth Management and Premier Banking verticals by engaging experienced professionals for key relationship and leadership roles. The vacancies are open for positions such as Vice President Wealth (Senior Relationship Manager), Assistant Vice President Wealth (Relationship Manager), and Customer Relationship Executive.

These vacancies are further distributed across circles such as Gandhinagar, Amaravati, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Maharashtra, Mumbai Metro, New Delhi, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Candidates must select three different circles while submitting their preferences. Final posting will depend on merit, availability, and administrative requirements of the Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet both educational and experience-based eligibility conditions as on the prescribed cut-off date. Teaching and training experience is not counted for eligibility.

1. Vice President Wealth (Senior Relationship Manager)

  • Educational Qualification:
    Graduation from a government-recognized university or institution.
    Preference will be given to candidates holding an MBA in Banking, Finance, or Marketing with strong academic performance. Certifications such as NISM, CFP, or CFA are considered advantageous.
  • Experience Requirement:
    A minimum of six years of post-qualification experience in sales and marketing roles with banks, wealth management firms, or asset management companies. Experience as a Relationship Manager in wealth management is highly preferred.

2. Assistant Vice President Wealth (Relationship Manager)

  • Educational Qualification:
    Graduation from a recognized university. Candidates with postgraduate degrees in finance, marketing, or banking will be given preference. Relevant certifications add further value.
  • Experience Requirement:
    At least three years of post-qualification experience in sales and marketing with banks or wealth management institutions. Candidates currently working in similar relationship roles are preferred.

3. Customer Relationship Executive

  • Educational Qualification:
    Graduation from a recognized university or institution.
  • Experience Requirement:
    Prior experience in documentation handling, customer support, or financial services is desirable. Candidates must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.

Age Limit

The age criteria vary depending on the post and are calculated as on 01 May 2025.

  • Vice President Wealth:
    Minimum Age: 26 years
    Maximum Age: 42 years
  • Assistant Vice President Wealth:
    Minimum Age: 23 years
    Maximum Age: 35 years
  • Customer Relationship Executive:
    Minimum Age: 20 years
    Maximum Age: 35 years

Age relaxation for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates will be provided as per Government of India norms.

Salary Scale and Remuneration

The remuneration structure offered under this recruitment is highly competitive and performance-driven. The engagement is contractual for a period of five years, extendable based on performance and Bank requirements.

Vice President Wealth (SRM)

  • Annual CTC (Upper Range): ₹44.70 lakhs
  • Includes fixed pay, allowances, performance-linked pay, and annual increments.

Assistant Vice President Wealth (RM)

  • Annual CTC (Upper Range): ₹30.20 lakhs
  • Includes fixed pay, allowances, performance-linked pay, and increments.

Customer Relationship Executive

  • Annual CTC (Upper Range): ₹6.20 lakhs
  • Includes fixed pay, allowances, and performance-based incentives.

Performance-linked pay and annual increments are subject to internal performance evaluation policies of the Bank.

Selection Process

The selection process is designed to identify candidates with strong professional competence, communication skills, and domain expertise.

  1. Shortlisting:
    Applications will be screened based on qualifications, experience, and suitability. Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility does not guarantee shortlisting.
  2. Interview:
    Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal, telephonic, or video interviews. The interview carries 100 marks.
  3. CTC Negotiation:
    Salary negotiations will be conducted individually for shortlisted candidates, based on experience and current compensation.
  4. Merit List:
    The final merit list will be prepared based solely on interview scores. In case of a tie, older candidates will be ranked higher.

Medical fitness verification and character verification will be conducted before final engagement.
