Salary
- Professor: Rs. 1,44,200/- per month (Academic Level-14, 7th Pay Commission)
- Associate Professor: Rs. 1,31,400/- per month (Academic Level-13A, 7th Pay Commission)

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Professor:
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline with published research.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience in a university or equivalent institution.
- Evidence of guiding doctoral candidates.
- At least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience.
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
Special Requirements:
- Pharmacy, Education, and Computer Science applicants have additional qualifications and experience requirements as per regulatory norms.
Age Limit
- No specific age limit.
- Retirement age: 65 years for University Teachers.
- Retired candidates may be appointed on a contract basis until 65 years if required.

Selection Process
- Initial screening of applications based on eligibility and research score (120 for Professor, 75 for Associate Professor).
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview.
- Selection will be merit-based as per performance in the interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Other Important Information
- Candidates must achieve proficiency in Gujarati within one year of appointment.
- All degrees must be recognized by Indian universities or equivalence from UGC/AIU for foreign degrees.
- Appointments will be on probation for one year.
