Sainik School Tilaiya, a fully residential institution under the Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, invites applications for various contractual positions for the academic year 2025-26. This recruitment initiative invites capable individuals to play a vital role in shaping future leaders, preparing students for the National Defence Academy and other esteemed institutions through comprehensive cadet development.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

1. TGT (Social Science):

A graduate securing a minimum of 50% marks with any two subjects—Geography, History, Economics, or Political Science—of which either Geography or History must be included. B.Ed, CTET Paper-II, and English teaching proficiency required.

2. TGT (General Science – Physics):

Bachelor’s in Physics with two among Math, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, or Statistics. B.Ed, CTET Paper-II, and fluency in English teaching essential.

3. TGT (Mathematics):

Bachelor’s in Mathematics with two supporting subjects. Candidates holding B.A./B.Sc. (Hons) degrees in disciplines other than Mathematics are not considered eligible. B.Ed, CTET Paper-II, and English teaching proficiency mandatory.

4. Counselor:

M.A/M.Sc (Psychology) with diploma in counseling or equivalent qualifications. Desirable: 1-year experience in student counseling.

5. Band Master:

Course from AEC Pachmarhi or equivalent military band training. Desirable: English communication skills.

6. Ward Boy:

Minimum 10th pass. Desirable: Graduate degree, skills in sports/arts/music, hostel handling experience, computer knowledge, and physical fitness.

Age Limit

• TGT (Social Science, General Science – Physics, Mathematics) & Counselor: 21 to 35 years
• Band Master & Ward Boy: 18 to 50 years

Note: Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with prevailing government regulations.

Pay Scale

Note: No other allowances and perquisites are applicable for these contractual posts.
