Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the post of Deputy Director (Implementation, Inspection & Monitoring) must fulfill the following educational qualifications and experience requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University.
- Degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
- A Certificate Course in Computer Application equivalent to the ‘O’ Level Foundation Course from a DOEACC-recognized institute is considered a basic qualification in computer literacy, often required for government and administrative roles.
- Proficiency in at least one of the regional languages, along with proficiency in both Hindi and English.
Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in Library Administration works.
Eligibility Conditions
The candidates must be officers under the following categories:
- Officers under Central Government/State Government/Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Bodies, including Universities and Research Institutions, holding an analogous post to the Deputy Director level. Alternatively, candidates with the following pay-scale can also apply:
- Officers in the pay-scale of Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) or Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB-2) G.P. Rs. 5400/- (Revised Level-10 or Level-9) with 5 years of regular service in the grade and relevant experience.
- Officers in the pay-scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB-2) G.P. Rs. 4800/- (Revised Level-8) with 6 years of regular service in the grade and relevant experience.
- Officers holding a pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB-2) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- (Revised Level-7), and having at least 7 years of regular service in the grade along with relevant experience, are eligible for this position.
This ensures that only suitably qualified and experienced candidates are selected for the position, guaranteeing the success and efficiency of library schemes under the Foundation’s purview.
Pay Scale
The selected candidate will be paid in Pay Level 11 (as per the 7th Central Pay Commission), with the following pay scale:
- Pay Scale: The monthly pay for this position ranges from Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 (Level-11 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission).
Along with the basic pay, the role is entitled to additional allowances as per the rules set by the Central Government and the Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF). The total compensation package will be highly competitive, based on the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
