Eligibility Criteria
1. Work Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a senior-level role in relevant industries.
- Must have significant contributions in any of the following fields:
- Aviation & Aerospace Engineering
- Aviation Management & Sciences
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Signal Processing, Wireless Networks
- Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Information Systems
- Finance, HR, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour
- VLSI Design, RF & Microwave Engineering, Antenna & Propagation
2. Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. NOT mandatory, but wide industry experience is required.
- Candidates with exceptional professional achievements will be preferred.
- Exempted from the academic publication requirement for professors.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Professor of Practice will be expected to bridge the gap between academia and industry by bringing real-world insights into the classroom. Key responsibilities include:
- Curriculum Development: Design and introduce industry-relevant courses.
- Teaching & Mentoring: Deliver lectures, conduct workshops, and mentor students.
- Examination & Evaluation: Supervise assessments and ensure fair grading.
- Industry Collaboration: Establish partnerships with aviation and management firms.
- Research & Innovation: Encourage student participation in innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
- Academic Leadership: Help in structuring university policies and propose new programs.
The role requires candidates to be actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and administrative duties, ensuring RGNAU remains a center of excellence in aviation education.
Working Hours & Leave Policy
- Timings: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Weekend Work: May be required based on workload (no extra pay for additional work).
- Casual Leave: 1 day per month (cumulative within the same calendar year).
- No Work, No Pay: Salary will be deducted for unapproved absences.
