Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- Applicants should have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or possess an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational board.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in office clerical work and routine office tasks such as:
- Diary and dispatch
- Record keeping
- Computer data entry
- Photocopying and scanning
Desirable Qualification:
- Candidates with a +3 Degree in Science, Commerce, or Arts are desirable.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Working knowledge of computers
- Experience in the upkeep of laboratory plants, animals (like mice, rabbits), or similar environments in R&D Laboratories, Reputed Labs, or Industrial Establishments
Age Limit:
- The maximum age allowed is 30 years, calculated as of the final date for submitting applications.
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per the Government of India rules, especially for candidates belonging to reserved categories or already serving in Government Organizations.
Salary Details
- The Multi Tasking Staff position is classified under Level 1 of the Pay Matrix in accordance with the 7th Central Pay Commission.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 56,900/-
- In addition to the basic pay, the candidate will also be entitled to other allowances as per the norms of the Institute of Life Sciences.
Selection Process
The selection process will primarily consist of a Skill Test, which will assess the candidate’s capabilities in performing office and routine support work relevant to the position.

- Satisfying the eligibility requirements does not guarantee that a candidate will be shortlisted for the Skill Test.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Skill Test based on the evaluation of the application and documents.
- The decision of the Institute regarding the shortlisting and final selection will be final and binding.
- No communication or interim queries will be considered regarding this matter.
Candidates working in Central Government Departments or Central Government Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel. Candidates may also submit an advance copy of their application. However, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer must be submitted at the time of the Skill Test if shortlisted.
