Educational Qualification

A. For Broad Speciality Posts:

Campaigners should retain one of the following from a honored university

• MD/ MS/ DNB/ MDS in the applicable subject
• Approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / Medical Council of India (MCI) / Dental Council of India (DCI) / National Board of Examinations (NBE)

Special Qualifications for Certain Departments:

• Anatomy:
  • MS in Anatomy or
  • Candidates who have completed MSc in Medical Anatomy along with a PhD in Medical Anatomy are eligible.
• Biochemistry:
  • MD in Biochemistry or
  • Similarly, those with an MSc in Medical Biochemistry and a PhD in Medical Biochemistry can also apply.
• Physiology:
  • MD in Physiology or
  • Candidates who have completed an MSc in Medical Physiology along with a PhD in Medical Physiology are eligible.

B. For Super-Specialty Posts:

• Medical Super Specialty Departments:
  • MD / DNB in General Medicine
  • Preference to DM / DNB in relevant super specialty (e.g., Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology)
• Surgical Super Specialty Departments:
  • MS / DNB in General Surgery
  • Preference to M.Ch / DNB in specific surgical super specialty (e.g., Urology, Plastic Surgery)

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2023)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years

Age Relaxation:

• For Persons with Disabilities (PWD), there is a relaxation of up to 10 attempts, regardless of whether they belong to SC, ST, OBC, or General categories.
• Age limit governed by Assam Government Office Memorandum No. ABP.55/2023/25 dated 04.07.2023

Pay Scale (Salary Details)

• Pay Level: Academic Level 10
• Basic Pay: ₹57,700/- to ₹1,82,400/- per month

How to Pay:

Two options are available:

1. Treasury Challan:
   The expenditure will be booked under the Head of Account “0210 – Medical and Public Health, 01 – Urban Health Services, 800 – Other Damage”, which pertains to miscellaneous costs under urban health services.
2. Online Payment via GRAS:
