RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL), a Mini Ratna (Category-I) Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, holds a key position in developing pan-India broadband telecom and IT infrastructure modern railway signaling systems. As part of its continued efforts to strengthen project execution in the signaling domain, RCIL invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Senior Manager (Signaling) on deputation or re-employment basis.
The selected candidate will be posted in the Jaipur Territory / Northern Region and will be responsible for handling various signaling-related responsibilities, including tender preparation, coordination with vendors, and execution of signaling projects.

Eligibility
For Deputation (Serving Railway Officials):
- Must be working in any of the following pay levels as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC):
- Junior Scale (Level-10)
- Group ‘B’ (Level-9 or Level-8)
- Level-8 under MACP (Modified Assured Career Progression)
- Age Limit: Should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of the application.
For Re-employment (Retired/Resigned Railway Officers):
- Must have retired or resigned from:
- Junior Scale (Level-10)
- Group ‘B’ (Level-9 or Level-8)
- Level-8 (including under MACP)
- The maximum age limit should be 56 years as of the application closing date.
Salary
- For Deputation:
The selected candidate will receive parent grade pay along with applicable deputation allowance as per government norms. - For Re-employment:
The candidate will be appointed on a contract basis with DPE scales and allowances applicable to the level of selection. Terms and conditions will be in accordance with RailTel’s re-employment policies.
Selection Process
The selection for this position will be determined by the following criteria:
Scrutiny of applications based on eligibility and experience.
- Assessment of the candidate’s technical knowledge and experience in railway signaling through interview or interaction (if applicable).
- Consideration of service record (for deputation) and project exposure (for re-employment).
The final decision on selection will be based on the judgment of RailTel Management.No reimbursement will be provided for travel or daily allowance costs related to attending interviews or reporting for duty.
