Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
- MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution
- Postgraduate qualification such as MD, MS, DNB degree, or DNB Diploma in the relevant specialty
- The qualification must be recognized by the Medical Council of India or the appropriate statutory authority
Medical Registration
- Candidates must be registered with the Punjab Medical Council or Medical Council of India
Punjabi Language Requirement

Salary Scale / Empanelment Fee Structure
The selected Specialist Doctors will be paid based on the number of patients treated and medical services provided. The payment structure is performance-based and calculated monthly.
OPD Services
- ₹100 per OPD patient
IPD Services
- ₹100 per IPD patient
Surgical Procedures
- Major surgeries or Caesarean section: ₹3,500 per case
- Minor surgeries: ₹1,000 per case
- Minor medical procedures: ₹500 per case
Diagnostic and Emergency Services
- Ultrasound: ₹400 per procedure
- Emergency call visit: ₹1,500 per visit
- Anaesthesia charges for major surgeries: ₹2,000
Minimum Assured Patient Load
- OPD: 50 to 150 patients per day
- IPD: 2 to 20 patients per day
If the doctor attends all working days, the payment will not be less than the minimum assured amount, even if patient numbers fall below the minimum limit.
Additional Earnings
- An additional ₹100 per patient is paid for OPD or IPD cases above the minimum assured limit
- Payment is computed monthly based on the average number of patients attended
Other Financial Terms
- No additional allowances, perks, bonuses, or benefits are provided
- Payment is strictly service-based
Working Conditions
- Minimum service requirement: 3 hours per day
- Working days: Monday to Saturday
- Maximum leave allowed: 4 days per month
Private Practice Policy
- Private practice is permitted
- Doctors must avoid unnecessary referrals from government health facilities to private clinics
- Ethical medical standards must be maintained at all times
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be conducted through a walk-in interview. There is no written examination for this recruitment.
