PM Internship Scheme 2025 – Online Application Details

The Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2025 is a central government initiative designed to provide internship opportunities to youth across India. The program offers a 12-month internship with top companies, aiming to enhance practical skills, bridge the gap between education and employment, and boost overall employability.

Important Dates

• Portal Launch Date: October 3, 2024
• Application Start Date: October 3, 2024
• Last Date to Apply Online: April 15, 2025
• Internship Duration: 12 months

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 21 to 24 years (age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC)
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed 10th, 12th, ITI, Polytechnic, or Diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree (non-premier institutions only) like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Pharma, etc.

Not Eligible If:

• You are from premier institutions (IITs, IIMs, NLU, IIITs, etc.)
• You hold degrees like MBA, MBBS, PhD, CA, CMA, CS, or Master’s and above
• You have completed an apprenticeship under NATS/NAPS
• You are currently studying full-time or working

Benefits

• Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000
  • ₹4,500 from the Government (via DBT)
  • ₹500 from the hosting company
• Joining Incentive: ₹6,000 one-time payment
• Insurance Coverage: Included under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana & Suraksha Bima Yojana
• Experience Certificate: Issued post completion

2. Register with your mobile number and complete OTP verification
3. Fill in personal and academic details
4. Upload required documents
5. Choose up to 5 internship preferences

• Aadhaar Card
• 10th / 12th / Graduation Certificate
• Self-declaration of income (if applicable)
• Bank account details (linked with Aadhaar)
• Passport-size photo
• Scanned signature
