  1. Deputy Superintendent of Establishment
    • Total Vacancies: 150
    • Reservation: 50 vacancy reserved for female candidates
  2. Senior Technician
    • Total Vacancies: 120
    • Reservation: 40 vacancy reserved for female candidates
  3. Deputy Superintendent of Accounts
    • Total Vacancies: 180
    • Reservation: 80 vacancies reserved for female candidates

Eligibility Criteria

1. Deputy Superintendent of Establishment

  • Educational Qualification: M.S.W. / M.L.W. / M.B.A. (HR), 2 years full-time course from a Government Recognized University with a minimum of 55% in the final year.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (Including Yuva Swavlamban Scheme) as on 30/04/2025.
    • Relaxation:
      • 5 years for female candidates.
      • Up to 45 years for departmental candidates.
      • 10 years for Ex-Armed Force Personnel.
      • Up to 40 years for dependents of retired PGVCL employees

2. Senior Technician

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE).
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in a Meter Testing Lab preferred. Must possess the ability to independently conduct testing of tri-vector meters, CTs/PTs, and related equipment.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Including Yuva Swavlamban Scheme) as on 30/04/2025.
    • Relaxation:
      • 5 years for female candidates.
      • Up to 40 years for departmental candidates.
      • 10 years for Ex-Armed Force Personnel.
      • Up to 40 years for dependents of retired PGVCL employees (subject to submission of undertaking).

3. Deputy Superintendent of Accounts

  • Educational Qualification: C.A. / I.C.W.A. / M.Com. / M.B.A. (Finance) with at least 55% marks in the final year from an accredited University or Institute.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience post attainment of the required qualification, as of 30/04/2025.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (Including Yuva Swavlamban Scheme) as on 30/04/2025.
    • Relaxation:
      • 5 years for female candidates.
      • Up to 45 years for departmental candidates.
      • 10 years for Ex-Armed Force Personnel.
      • Maximum age limit extended to 40 years for candidates who are dependents of retired PGVCL employees.

Salary Structure

  • Deputy Superintendent of Establishment: ₹35,700 – ₹82,100 plus DA, HRA, CLA, Medical, LTC as per company rules.
  • Senior Technician: ₹35,700 – ₹82,100 plus other allowances as per company rules.
  • Deputy Superintendent of Accounts: ₹35,700 – ₹82,100 along with DA, HRA, CLA, Medical benefits, and LTC in accordance with company policies.

Selection Process

  • Mode of Examination: Online or OMR-based written test, depending on the number of registered candidates.
  • Exam Structure:
    • Deputy Superintendent of Establishment:
      • General Knowledge: 10%
      • English Language: 20%
      • HR, IR & Labour Laws: 70%
    • Deputy Superintendent of Accounts:
      • General Knowledge: 10 marks
      • English Language: 20 marks
      • Accounts & Finance: 60 marks
      • Computer Knowledge: 10 marks
      • Total: 100 marks
      • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
      • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 45%
    • Senior Technician:
      • Written Test: Candidates will be selected based on performance in a written test, which may be online or OMR-based.
      • Shortlisting: The management holds the authority to select candidates for the test at its discretion.
      • Eligibility Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce all required documents, including NOC (if employed) and Domicile Certificate (for 85% local quota).
      • Final Decision: The management’s decision regarding selection, eligibility, and the recruitment process shall be final and binding.

Application Process

  1. Online Application: Candidates are required to submit their applications online through the official PGVCL website.
  2. Document Submission: Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit photocopies of all relevant certificates as and when required. Original certificates must be produced for verification during the selection process.
  3. No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government or PSU organizations must produce a NOC from the concerned organization at the time of the written test.
  4. Relieving Letter: Selected candidates currently employed must produce a relieving letter from their previous employer at the time of joining.
