The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a premier Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, has released its official notification for the recruitment of Executive Trainees in various engineering disciplines. The announcement, made via Advertisement No: NPCIL/HQ/HRM/ET/2024/04, invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals through the official portal.
This recruitment drive offers a total of 400 vacancies across disciplines such as Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, and Civil Engineering. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 scores and will be called for a personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Full-time BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M Tech with minimum 60% aggregate marks in any of the following disciplines:
Mechanical: Mechanical, Production
Chemical: Chemical, Electro-Chemical Engineering
Electrical: Electrical, Electrical & Electronics
Electronics: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Instrumentation & Controls, etc.
Valid GATE 2023, GATE 2024, or GATE 2025 score in the same discipline as the qualifying degree.
Selection Process
Shortlisting for Interview: Based on GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 scores in the ratio of 1:12.
Personal Interview: Final selection is based solely on interview performance (GATE score is not considered in final selection).
Qualifying Marks:
UR: 70%
EWS/SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD: 60%
Tie-Breaking Rules:

Training Duration: 1 year
Streams:
PHWR (Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor)
LWR (Light Water Reactor) – primarily for training at KKNPP, Tamil Nadu
Candidates will be posted at any NPCIL location across India or abroad post-training.
Service Bond
Selected candidates must sign a bond to serve NPCIL for at least three years after training, with a bond value of Rs. 9,18,000 (12 months stipend + book allowance). No third-party surety is required.
