Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit
- For Open Market Candidates: Should not have completed 53 years of age as of 14.05.2025.
- Relaxation is permitted up to 5 attempts in the case of SC/ST applicants and up to 3 attempts for those falling in the category of OBC.
- Maximum engagement period Up to 12 times or 65 times of age, whichever is before.
- For Retired Railway/Government/PSU Doctors:
- Maximum of 7 years or above to 67 years of age, whichever is earlier.
2. Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- Applicants should be MBBS graduates from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Preferred:
- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (DNB/DMRD) in the relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience after post-graduation is desirable (not mandatory).
3. Other Requirements
- Candidates currently serving under Central/State Government/PSUs must apply with a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- OBC candidates must produce a certificate in the prescribed Central Government format stating non-creamy layer status.
Pay Scale / Remuneration
For Open Market Candidates and Retired Government Doctors (Full-Time Engagement):
- General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): ₹95,000/- per month
- Specialist (1st Year): ₹1,23,500/- per month
- Specialist (2nd Year): ₹1,30,000/- per month
- Super Specialist: ₹1,42,000/- per month
Selection Process
The selection will be done through a Walk-in Interview followed by a Medical Examination.
