Eligibility Criteria for North Central Railway Sports Quota 2025
To apply for these posts, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria related to age, educational qualification, and sports achievements. Below are the key eligibility details:
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 25 years as of 01.01.2025. Age relaxations are applicable for specific categories.
Educational Qualifications:
- GP 1800: Minimum 10th Pass or ITI equivalent.
- GP 1900/2000: Minimum Intermediate or equivalent qualification.
- GP 2400/2800: Minimum Degree from a recognized institution.
Sports Norms for Recruitment:
Candidates will be selected based on their achievements in national and international sports competitions. Specific eligibility norms for various pay grades are detailed below:
- GP 1800:
- Representing the country in Category C events or securing at least 3rd place in Federation Cup Championships.
- GP 1900/2000:
- Representing the country in Category B events or securing 1st or 2nd place in national-level championships.
- GP 2400/2800:
- At least 3rd place in Category B events or securing a Gold Medal in Asian Games.
Selection Process:
The recruitment process will include the following stages:
- Trials:
- A rigorous trial process will be conducted to assess the physical and sporting abilities of candidates. Only those who pass the trials will move on to the next stage.
- Sports Achievements Assessment:
- Candidates will be evaluated based on their past sports achievements, which must be on or after 01.04.2022.
- Medical Fitness Test:
