NMDC Apprenticeship Recruitment 2025

NMDC Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, is inviting eligible candidates for Walk-in Interviews for engagement as Trade Apprentices, Graduate Apprentices, and Technician Apprentices at Bailadila Iron Ore Mine (BIOM), Bacheli Complex, Chhattisgarh. The recruitment is being carried out under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, and aims to provide valuable industry exposure to ITI pass-outs, diploma holders, and engineering graduates.

Candidates interested in gaining on-the-job training and practical experience in one of India’s top mining corporations can attend the walk-in interviews as per the schedule announced by NMDC.

• Walk-in Interview Dates: 8 May 2025 to 18 May 2025 (as per trade/discipline)

Application Fees

• No application fee is required to attend the walk-in interview.

Age Limit

• No specific age limit has been mentioned by NMDC. However, candidates must meet the age norms as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

Vacancy Details

A total of 1289 apprenticeship positions are available, divided into the following categories:

Trade Apprentices (ITI Passed Candidates) – Total: 850

Graduate Apprentices – Total: 426

Technician Apprentices (Diploma Holders) – Total: 13

Stipend / Salary Details

• The stipend will be paid as per the rates prescribed under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
• Exact amount may vary depending on the apprenticeship category (ITI, Diploma, Graduate).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Trade Apprentices: ITI in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT-recognized institute.
• Graduate Apprentices: 4-year degree in the respective engineering discipline.
• Technician Apprentices: 3-year diploma in the relevant engineering stream or Modern Office Management.

Year of Passing

• Candidates who completed their qualification in 2022, 2023, or 2024 are eligible.
• Candidates who completed qualifications in 2021 or earlier, or who have completed previous apprenticeship training or have over one year of experience, are not eligible.

How to Apply

1. No online application is required. Candidates must attend the walk-in interview on the scheduled date.
2. Prior to interview, registration is mandatory on the following apprenticeship portals:

   • Printed resume with a passport-size photo affixed
   • Original and photocopy of:
     • ITI/Diploma/Degree certificates and mark sheets
     • Aadhaar Card
     • Date of Birth proof (10th mark sheet or birth certificate)
     • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
     • Proof of registration on apprenticeship portals
4. Reach the venue before 9:00 AM to complete the registration process for the interview starting at 10:00 AM.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
