Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant field or an equivalent area of study.
The applicant must have secured First Class in all degrees preceding the Ph.D. (i.e., Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees).
If a degree does not mention “First Class,” a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale is required.
Those who have earned a Ph.D. directly after completing their B.Tech. or B.E. are also eligible, as long as they meet all other requirements.
Those with Ph.D. degrees from foreign institutions must have obtained it from:
A national university/institute of the respective country, or
An institution ranked in the top 500 of QS or THE world rankings in the last two consecutive years.
Experience Requirements
Only full-time regular teaching/research experience from recognized academic/research institutions will be considered.
Experience from non-NIRF-recognized institutions or obtained through part-time, contractual, or daily wage roles will not be considered.

Candidates in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer or apply through proper channel.

The selected candidates will be placed under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay structure:

Probation and Retirement
Newly appointed faculty members will be on probation for one year, extendable if necessary.
