Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.

Professional Experience

• The candidate must be a retired personnel from:
  • Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, or Air Force) in the Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) rank or equivalent.
  • Para-Military or Police forces such as CISF, CRPF, BSF, RPF, SSB, or State Police in equivalent ranks.

Desirable Qualification

• Preferable for candidates who have:
  • Knowledge of fire safety measures
  • Experience in handling firefighting equipment

Age Criteria

Note: Candidates above the maximum age limit (unless eligible for relaxation) will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities

The role of Security & Maintenance Officer is essential in ensuring the operational safety, security, and maintenance of the museum. Below is a summary of key responsibilities:

Security

• Ensure strict security control over all entry and exit points.
• Deploy and manage security personnel efficiently.
• Monitor visitor and material movement within the premises.

Fire Safety and Emergency Management

• Conduct regular inspections for fire hazards.
• Organize fire drills and safety training.
• Maintain fire extinguishers, alarm systems, and hydrants.
• Respond swiftly during emergencies and provide immediate assistance.

Maintenance

• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of:
  • Museum buildings
  • Gardens
  • Guest house/dormitory facilities
• Monitor the performance of housekeeping and other facility management agencies.

General Supervision

• Coordinate emergency medical services when required.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities assigned by higher authorities.
