NCLT Recruitment 2025 – Apply for Registrar Posts on Deputation Basis

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) is now accepting applications from qualified officers currently serving in the Central or State Governments, Union Territories, judicial bodies, tribunals, or other statutory authorities for key administrative positions. The available roles include Joint Registrar, Deputy Registrar, and Assistant Registrar. The recruitment is to be done on a deputation basis and the vacancies are spread across various NCLT benches in India. The selected officers will be appointed for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria

Joint Registrar

  • Holding analogous post on regular basis or
  • 5 years in Level 12 or 10 years in Level 11 of the pay matrix
  • Degree in Law from a recognized university
  • Experience in personnel and administrative matters
  • Maximum age: 56 years as on closing date

Deputy Registrar

  • Holding analogous post or
  • 5 years in Level 11 of the pay matrix
  • Degree in Law from a recognized university
  • Experience in administrative, establishment, and court matters
  • Maximum age: 56 years as on closing date

Assistant Registrar

  • Holding analogous post or
  • Applicants should possess at least 5 years of experience in Pay Level 9 or 10, or 6 years in Level 8, or a minimum of 7 years in Level 7, as per the 7th CPC framework.
  • Degree in Law from a recognized university
  • Experience in administrative, establishment, or court matters
  • Maximum age: 56 years as on closing date

Selection Process

Selection for the posts will be carried out on a deputation basis. Applications will be screened based on eligibility, experience, and supporting documents. Shortlisted candidates may be called for interaction if required. The final selection will be made by the competent authority of NCLT.

How to Apply

  1. Eligible officers must submit their applications through the proper channel in the prescribed format (Annexure-II of the notification).
  2. The application must be accompanied by:
    • Bio-data
    • Educational certificates (especially Law degree)
    • Cadre clearance
    • Attested copies of APARs/ACRs of last five years
    • Vigilance clearance
    • Integrity certificate
    • Details of penalties, if any
    • Proof of relevant experience
  3. Applications that are incomplete or submitted without the necessary supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
  4. The envelope containing the application must be clearly superscribed with the name of the post being applied for.
  5. The complete application must be forwarded to the Secretary, National Company Law Tribunal, New Delhi within 60 days from the date of publication in the Employment News.
