The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is conducting walk-in interviews to fill various contractual posts for the Metropolitan Surveillance Unit (MSU) being established under Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC). The recruitment is for a project focused on strengthening public health surveillance and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) containment. Eligible candidates are invited to attend walk-in interviews on scheduled dates for different posts.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Senior Public Health Specialist
- Qualifications:
- MBBS with MD (Community Medicine/PSM/CHA/Tropical Medicine) or DNB
- OR MBBS with EIS Certification
- OR B.Sc. (Life Sciences/Nursing/Biology etc.) with MPH/MAE/DPH or PhD
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in public health program implementation
- Age Limit:
- Maximum 60 years (70 for retired Govt. doctors)
2. Microbiologist
- Qualifications:
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Microbiology/Lab Medicine
- OR MSc with PhD in Microbiology/Biomedical Sciences/Biotechnology
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in microbiology/public health lab
- Age Limit:
- 21–37 years (UR/EWS), up to 42 years (SC/ST), 10 years relaxation for PwBD
3. Multipurpose Assistant
- Qualifications: Graduate Degree
- Experience: Minimum 3 years (preferably in health programs)
- Skills: Computer proficiency, Typing (40 WPM), Steno (80 WPM) preferred
- Age Limit: Same as Microbiologist
4. Data Manager
- Qualifications:
- PG in IT/Computer Science OR
- PG Diploma in IT/Computer Science OR
- BE in IT/Electronics
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in IT/data management (health/social sector)
- Age Limit: Same as above
Selection Process
- Selection will be done through Walk-in Interview and document verification.
- Candidates must bring original documents and self-attested copies at the time of the interview.
- Candidates will not receive any travel or daily allowances for participating in the walk-in interview.
- Selection will be based on eligibility, qualifications, and experience as per the Terms of Reference.
