- Electrical Engineering: 27 posts
- Chemical Engineering: 24 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology
- Minimum marks required:
- 65% for UR / EWS / OBC (NCL)
- 55% for SC / ST / PwBD
- Candidates in the final year of engineering are eligible to apply, provided they complete the degree with required marks before the interview.
- Degree must be obtained from a recognized university or approved institution.

Selection Process
The selection process for NALCO Graduate Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2026 consists of two stages.
Stage 1: Shortlisting Through GATE 2025
- Only GATE 2025 scores are considered valid.
- Candidates must have qualified in the relevant GATE paper for their discipline.
- Shortlisting is done discipline-wise and category-wise in a ratio of 1:10 based on GATE scores.
Stage 2: Personal Interview
- Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview.
- Final merit is prepared based on:
- 90% weightage to GATE 2025 marks
- 10% weightage to interview performance
