Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute.

Experience

• At least 12 years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering, specifically within the power sector infrastructure and project execution domain.
• Out of the total experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years must have been served in the capacity of Executive Engineer or Additional Executive Engineer, or an equivalent managerial role.
  • At least 2 years as Executive Engineer.

Note: Experience must be post-qualification and relevant to the power sector.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit (Outsider Candidates): 50 years as on 21.05.2025
• The upper age limit for departmental campaigners of MSETCL is 57 times as of 21st May 2025.

The date of birth as per SSC or School Leaving Certificate will be considered.

Pay Scale and Benefits

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Competency Mapping Test, which includes the following components:

1. In-Basket Exercises
2. Group Discussion
3. Case Discussion
4. Presentation Skills
5. Personal Interview

Procedure:

• Applications received by 21.05.2025 will be considered.
• Initially, candidates meeting the minimum educational and experience criteria will be called for the first four tools of the competency test.
• Only shortlisted candidates from the initial rounds will proceed to the personal interview, subject to document verification.
• Final selection will be based on overall performance in all five components.
