Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria
1. Mine Manager
- Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering (or equivalent) with a First-Class Manager Certificate in Coal (FCC).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the coal mining sector, as per Regulation No. 27(c) of CMR 2017.
- Age Limit: Up to 55 years (Relaxation up to 57 years for MAHAGENCO employees).
- Salary: ₹1,50,000 per month.
2. Surveyor
- Qualification: Diploma in Surveying, Mining, or Civil Engineering, along with a Surveyor Certificate.
- Experience: At least 2 years in coal mining, as per Regulation No. 34(1) of CMR 2017 and the Government of India’s notification dated June 13, 2019.
- Age Limit: Up to 55 years (Relaxation up to 57 years for MAHAGENCO employees).
- Salary: ₹80,000 per month.
3. Electrical Supervisor
- Qualification: ITI in Electrician Trade or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency covering mining installations.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Age Limit: Up to 33 years (Relaxation up to 57 years for MAHAGENCO employees).
- Salary: ₹60,000 per month.
Contract Period & Terms
- The appointment is for 3 years on a contract basis.
- Performance will be reviewed annually, and continuation will depend on the candidate’s performance.
- Candidates currently employed in PSUs or Government organizations may have their pay scale protected, but they must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
Application Fees
- Fee: ₹944 (₹800 application fee + ₹144 GST).
- Payment should be made via Demand Draft (DD) in favor of “Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited”, payable at Mumbai.
- The candidate’s full name, post code, and post name must be written on the back of the DD.
- Modes of Payment Not Accepted: Cash, Money Order, Postal Order.

- The final selection list will remain valid for one year.
