Eligibility Criteria

1. Citizenship:

• Applicants should hold permanent residency status in Assam.

2. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST (P/H): Up to 43 years
• OBC/MOBC: Up to 41 years
• PwBD Candidates: Up to 48 years
• Ex-Servicemen (UR): Up to 50 years
• Ex-Servicemen (OBC/MOBC): Up to 53 years
• Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): Up to 55 years

3. Educational Qualification:

For Engineering Disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation):

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. (4-year course) and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in the relevant branch
• First Class or equivalent grade in any one of the degrees

For Computer Application:

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

• Option 1:
  • B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in a relevant branch with First Class in any one
• Option 2:
  • B.E./B.Tech. and MCA with First Class in any one
• Option 3:
  • 3-year Graduation with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and
  • MCA with First Class
  • Plus 2 years of experience in teaching/research/industry after acquiring MCA degree

Additional Eligibility:

• Candidates with Ph.D. after Bachelor’s Degree from institutions of national importance and who have qualified GATE/CEED are also eligible.

Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)

Candidates with 40% or more disability are eligible for reservation if they fall under the following categories:

Salary Structure

• The selected candidates will be placed under Level-10 of the Pay Matrix:
  • ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
  • Plus Other Allowances as admissible under Government of Assam rules
