Eligibility

Educational Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Hindi with English included as one of the subjects at the undergraduate level.
  OR
• Postgraduate qualification in English, with Hindi studied as a subject during the bachelor’s program.

Experience:

• At least two years of hands-on experience in translating content between English and Hindi in a Government department, Public Sector Undertaking, or Autonomous Organization.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Translation
• Knowledge of the Official Language Act and Rules
• Proficiency in Malayalam is an added advantage

Age Limit:

• The candidate should not exceed 35 years of age as on 25th May 2025.
• For applicants currently employed in Major Ports, the maximum age limit may be extended up to 55 years.
• Other age relaxations shall be as per Government norms

Salary

• Pay Scale: ₹45,800 – ₹1,21,300
• Includes all allowances and benefits as applicable to regular Class III employees under the rules of Cochin Port Authority.

Selection Process
