Vacancy

Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have passed the middle standard (8th class) examination.
• The candidate must possess knowledge of the Punjabi language up to middle standard level.

Age Limit (as on 01.05.2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years (for General category)
• Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, BC, ESM, etc., as per the Government of Punjab rules.

Salary

The selected candidates will be placed under the Pay Matrix Level-1 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, with an initial basic pay of ₹18,000/- per month, along with other admissible allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Medical benefits, in accordance with Punjab Government norms.

Selection Process

The recruitment for this position will be determined solely through the interview. The selection for the Peon position will not involve any written examination.

• Candidates will be called for interviews based on the alphabetical order of their names.
• Selection will be determined by interview performance and meeting the eligibility requirements.
• The final merit list will be compiled based on interview results and document verification.

Kindly note that no travel or daily allowance will be provided for appearing in the interview.
