Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the JIPMER Senior Resident posts must fulfill the following:
- Medical/Surgical Departments: MD/MS/DNB in the relevant discipline from an NMC/MCI recognized institute.
- Specialized Departments:
- Paediatrics (Clinical Genetics): MD Paediatrics/MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology/MD General Medicine with 3 months experience in managing genetic disorders or prenatal genetic diagnostics.
- Pulmonary Medicine: DM in Pulmonary Medicine from a recognized institute.
- CTVS, Clinical Immunology, Neonatology: M.Ch/DM in the concerned discipline or equivalent.
- Dental Department: MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from a DCI-recognized institute.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 years as of the crucial date
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- PwBD (UR/EWS) – 10 years
- PwBD (OBC) – 13 years

Salary/Stipend
Selected candidates will receive:
- Basic Pay: ₹67,700 (as per 7th CPC, Level 11, Cell 1)
- Additional Allowances: NPA and other applicable allowances as per Puducherry/Karaikal norms

Reservation & General Instructions
