Salary & Benefits
The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-3 as per the 7th Pay Commission:
- Salary Range: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10th standard or ITI or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board approved by the Central or State Government.
Physical Standards
Candidates must meet the following physical requirements:
- Height: Minimum 157 cm
- Chest: Properly proportioned with at least 5 cm of expansion.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age (±10% acceptable)
- Eyesight:
- Without glasses: 6/60 (both eyes)
- With glasses: 6/9 (better eye), 6/24 (worse eye)
- Body Tattoos: Permanent tattoos are not permitted, except for certain tribal communities or on the inner forearms and back of the hand.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of four stages:
- Written Test
- Subjects: General Knowledge and General English (10th standard level)
- Duration: 1 hour (50 marks)
- Qualifying Marks:
- General/OBC: 50%
- SC/ST: 45%
- Professional Skill Test (PST)
- Candidates will be tested on their ability to perform the following:
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Cleaning drains and toilets
- Maintenance of septic tanks/sewer lines
- The PST is qualifying in nature.
- Candidates will be tested on their ability to perform the following:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 km run: To be completed within 7 minutes
- 20 squat-ups (Uthak Baithak)
- 10 push-ups
- Medical Examination
- Candidates who qualify in the written test, PST, and PFT will undergo a medical examination as per Indian Coast Guard standards.
