Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Officers:

Officers from Central/State Governments or UT Administrations who:

• Hold an equivalent post regularly in the parent department;
  OR
• Should have completed two years of regular service in either position- 9( ₹ 53,100 – ₹) or position- 8( ₹ 47,600 – ₹) pay scale.OR
• Have 3 years of service in Level- 7( ₹ 44,900 – ₹).

Essential Qualifications:

Master’s Degree from a recognized university in:

• Hindi with English as a subject or medium at degree level;
  OR
• English with Hindi as a subject or medium at degree level;
  OR
• Scale in any subject with Hindi or English as the medium of instruction, and the other language studied as a mandatory or optional subject

Essential Experience:

Minimum 3 years in either:

• Experience in applying Hindi translation or scientific/technical terminology within Government, PSU, Autonomous bodies, or Academic institutions.OR
• Teaching/research in Hindi and English in similar institutions.

Selection Process

This recruitment is not based on a direct competitive examination or interview. It is a deputation-based appointment, and the selection will be made after screening of eligible applications forwarded through the proper channel. The process includes:

1. Scrutiny of Bio-data and Documents
2. Vigilance and Integrity Clearance
3. Assessment of Confidential Reports/Dossiers of the past 5 years
4. Recommendation by Selection Committee/Internal Departmental Review
