Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Deputy Manager (Security) post, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized institution.
• Desirable:
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications.
  • Knowledge of foreign languages, other than English.

Experience

• We’re looking for professionals with security experience from the Armed Forces, Para-Military, Police, or Government/PSU security teams – bonus if you’ve handled exhibitions, events, or VVIP protection.

Eligibility Based on Service

• Candidates should hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the IDA EI Grade of 40,000-1,40,000 or an equivalent position in CDA pattern in Armed Forces, Para-Military, Police, or Security Establishments.
• Alternatively, candidates with four years of regular service in the IDA EO Grade of 30,000-1,20,000 or an equivalent CDA pattern in the Armed Forces, Para-Military, Police, or Security Establishments are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Applicants must be 56 years or younger when applying.

Physical Standards

• For Male Candidates: Minimum height of 165 cm.
• For Female Candidates: Minimum height of 157 cm.

Pay Scale

• Perks & Allowances: Candidates whose parent cadre scale falls under the CDA scale will not be eligible for the perks and allowances applicable to the IDA scales. For those under the CDA scale, the perks and allowances will be governed as per the extant DPE/DoPT guidelines.
