- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any field from a university recognized by the Government.
- Eligibility Criteria: The position is open to retired personnel who have served in the Indian Armed Forces, holding the rank of Colonel or Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Army, or Group Captain/Wing Commander in the Indian Air Force.

Nature of Employment:
- The selected candidates will be employed on a contractual basis for a period of three years, or until they reach the age of 62 years, whichever comes earlier.
- The contract may be extended annually for up to two additional years based on satisfactory performance, subject to a maximum of five years.
Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms for the following categories:
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
- Persons with Disability (PWD):
- Gen/EWS: 10 years
- OBC: 13 years
- SC/ST: 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years for General/EWS, 8 years for OBC, and 10 years for SC/ST
- Persons affected by the 1984 riots: 5 years
