Eligibility Criteria
A. Common Eligibility Conditions
All applicants must meet the following basic requirements:
- CET Qualification: Mandatory qualification in Group‑C CET.
- Language Requirement: Hindi or Sanskrit studied at Matric or higher level.
- Age Limit: 18 to 42 years as on 15 February 2026.
Age Relaxation is applicable for SC, BC, EWS, PwBD, Ex‑Servicemen, and eligible Haryana Government employees as per state norms.
B. Post‑Specific Qualifications
Educational and technical requirements vary by post, such as:
- Draughtsman: Diploma or certificate in relevant engineering draftsmanship.
- Technical Trades: Matriculation with ITI certification and prescribed experience.
- Archaeology Assistant: Master’s degree in History/Archaeology with a related diploma.

Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed under the Haryana Government’s Fixed Pay Level (FPL) system:
- FPL‑2: Entry‑level operational posts

- FPL‑6: Diploma and graduate‑level technical positions

Selection Process
The recruitment process is entirely merit‑based and conducted in two stages.
Stage 1: CET‑Based Shortlisting

Stage 2: Mains Written Examination
- Exam Type: Objective (MCQs)
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
Marking Rule:
- No negative marking for wrong answers.
- Unattempted questions must be marked in the designated fifth option; failure results in –1 mark per question.
Qualifying Marks:
- General Category: 50%
- Reserved Categories: 40%
The final merit list will be prepared solely on marks obtained in this mains examination.
