Application Fees

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following diploma qualifications recognized by the Government:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Civil and Rural Engineering
- Diploma in Civil Draftsman
- Diploma in Construction Engineering
- Diploma in Construction Technology
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management
- Diploma in Survey Engineering
- Diploma in Transportation Engineering
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with specialization such as Planning, Rural Engineering, Building Services, or Construction
Important Note:
Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech) are not eligible for this recruitment.
Computer Knowledge
Applicants must have basic computer knowledge as prescribed under Gujarat Civil Services Rules. This can be proven through:
- Computer certificate from a recognized institute, or
- Computer subject studied in Class 10 or 12, or
- Diploma or degree containing computer studies

Age Relaxation
Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:
- Women candidates (General): 5 years
- Reserved category male candidates: 5 years

- Persons with disabilities (PwD): Up to 15 years
- Ex-servicemen: Service period + additional relaxation as prescribed
The maximum permissible age after relaxation shall not exceed the limits specified for each category.
Salary Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed monthly salary of ₹26,000 for the initial five years.
After successful completion of five years and subject to satisfactory performance, candidates will be placed in the regular salary scale ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 per month, along with admissible allowances as per government norms.
