GSECL Junior Assistant Recruitment 2025: Apply for Vidyut Sahayak Posts

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL), a subsidiary of GUVNL, has announced a recruitment notification for the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant). The appointment will be initially for a period of three years on a fixed tenure basis, with a provision for regular appointment based on performance. • UR, SEBC, EWS Candidates: ₹500/- (Inclusive of GST)

The application fee must be paid online via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. Other modes such as DD, MO, or cheque are not accepted.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Full-time B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.C.A., or B.B.A. (regular mode only) from a UGC-approved university with minimum 55% marks in the final year.
• Age Limit (as of 16/04/2025):
  • General Category: Max 30 yearsReserved/EWS Category: Max 35 years
  Additional age relaxations:
  • Female Candidates: 5 years
  • PwD Candidates: 10 years
  • Ex-Armed Forces Personnel: 10 years
  • Dependent of Retired GUVNL Employee: Upto 40 years
  • Maximum age relaxation limit: 45 years
• Other Requirements:
  • Knowledge of computer operations
  • Proficiency in English and Gujarati language
  • General knowledge of Gujarati is essential

Pay Scale / Remuneration

• 1st Year: ₹22,750/- per month
• 2nd Year: ₹24,700/- per month
• 3rd Year: ₹26,650/- per month

No additional benefits or allowances will be provided. Upon successful completion of three years, the candidate may be appointed on regular basis in the pay scale of ₹25,000–55,800 (subject to performance and organizational needs).

Selection Process

1. First Tier Exam (CBT):
   • Total: 100 Marks (Online mode)
   • Sections:
     • General Knowledge – 10%
     • English Language – 20%
     • Maths & General Science – 15%
     • Analytic & Logical Reasoning – 15%
     • Computer Knowledge – 20%
     • Gujarati Language – 20%
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
   • Minimum qualifying marks: 50 (UR/EWS), 45 (Reserved)
2. Second Tier Exam (CBT):
   • Only candidates qualifying in the First Tier will appear
   • Pattern same as the First Tier
   • Exam in English & Gujarati only
3. Merit List & Selection:
   • Based on normalized marks
   • Tiebreakers include Date of Birth (elder first), then name in alphabetical order
   • Widow female candidates get 5% grace marks (if not remarried)
4. Final Selection Includes:
   • Document verification
   • Pre-employment medical examination
   • Appointment based on roster, availability, and merit
