Group A Officer Posts at AIIMS Jammu – Deputation Basis Recruitment 2025

AIIMS Jammu, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible and experienced officers for the Recruitment for Group ‘A’ positions on a deputation basis. These positions offer officers from Central or State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Police Departments, R&D Organizations, and Universities an opportunity to serve in a prestigious medical institution.

Appointments will be governed as per DoPT guidelines and AIIMS Jammu’s regulations. Officers who meet the eligibility criteria and are seeking leadership opportunities within a central government organization are warmly encouraged to apply.

Vacancy Details:

AIIMS Jammu has announced a total of 312 vacancies for the following Group ‘A’ posts:

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be serving officers in Central or State Governments, Union Territories, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, Police Departments, or Universities, and must fulfill one of the following eligibility conditions:

1. Assistant Controller of Examinations:

• Officers must be holding analogous posts on a regular basis
  or
• Must have at least 5 years of regular service in a post in PB-3 with Grade Pay ₹5400 (under 6th CPC), which corresponds to Level 10 or above under 7th CPC

2. Nursing Superintendent:

• Officers must be holding analogous posts on a regular basis
  or
• Applicants must currently be serving as a Deputy or Assistant Nursing Superintendent, with at least 5 years of continuous service in a role carrying a Grade Pay of ₹5400 as per the 6th CPC (or Level 10 under the 7th CPC pay matrix).

Age Limit: The maximum age for applying to these posts on deputation is 56 years as on the last date of receipt of the application.

Pay Scale:

All selected officers will be placed in Pay Level 11 of the 7th CPC under the Group ‘A’ classification.

• Pay Matrix Level: Level 11
• Pay Range: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700

  • Additional allowances will be provided as per eligibility for officers stationed in Samba, Vijaypur, or Jammu.

Selection Process:

The selection process will be conducted as per deputation rules and AIIMS procedures.

2. Document Verification:
   • Candidates must present original documents during selection procedures
3. Interview (if required):
   • AIIMS might schedule interviews depending on how many applications they receive
4. Final Selection:
   • Based on eligibility, experience, suitability, and performance in interaction (if held)
