Application Fees & Payment Process

Online Payment:

  • Download the e-receipt as proof of successful payment.

Offline Payment:

  • Generate an e-challan online.
  • Make a cash payment at any State Bank of India (SBI) branch in Goa.
  • Ensure that the bank stamps the e-challan as proof of payment.
  • Submit the stamped e-challan to the GPSC office before the application deadline.

Available Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria

1. Mamlatdar/Joint Mamlatdar/Vigilance Officer

  • Total Vacancies: 3 (1 ST, 2 Unreserved)
    • 1 post reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) (Locomotor Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims, and Muscular Dystrophy)
    • If no suitable PwD candidates are found, the vacancy will remain unfilled.
  • Pay Scale: As per Level-7 Pay Matrix
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Law Degree from a recognized university.
  • Knowledge of local revenue laws, laws related to law and order, and planning and development works.
  • Knowledge of Konkani (may be relaxed if no suitable candidates are available).

Desirable Qualification:

  • Knowledge of Marathi.

2. Principal – Goa College of Art

  • Total Vacancies: 1 (Unreserved)
  • Pay Scale: Level-14 Pay Matrix (Pre-revised: ₹37,400 – 67,000 + Grade Pay ₹10,000)
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. Degree with First Class at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant field.
  • Successfully supervised at least two Ph.D. research projects.
  • Minimum eight research publications in recognized journals (SCI, UGC, AICTE-approved).
  • At least 15 years of experience in Teaching, Research, or Industry, with at least 3 years as a Professor or equivalent position.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable Qualification:

  • Knowledge of Marathi.

  1. Selection Process:
    • The Commission will shortlist candidates for interviews if the number of applications is high.
    • Merely meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call.
  2. Language Requirement:
    • The knowledge of Konkani is essential for both positions. However, for Group ‘A’ posts in professional colleges and consultants in the Directorate of Health Services, this requirement may be relaxed in exceptional cases.
