The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has established the India AI Independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation (DIC) to implement the India AI mission. To further its vision, IndiaAI is now inviting applications for the position of Senior Manager – Marketing Communications on a contract/consolidated basis. This role is based in New Delhi but may require relocation to project locations of IndiaAI as per its existing policies.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline (Mass Communication is desirable).
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Public & Media Relations.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in handling large-scale media and communication projects (experience in a government setup is preferable).
- Strong background in content creation, journalism, or communications with a focus on AI, technology, or related fields.
- Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships and communication portfolios.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong project management abilities with a history of successfully delivering projects on time.
- An imaginative problem-solver with a knack for developing original ideas and creative solutions.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with IndiaAI’s objectives, ensuring engaging and accurate AI-related communication.
- Produce high-quality written content, including articles, reports, whitepapers, and blog posts, focusing on India’s AI ecosystem and its global impact.
- Manage IndiaAI’s social media presence and create content that aligns with the official website, including live social events.
- Lead and mentor a team of content creators, offering feedback and strategic guidance for productivity and professional growth.
- Liaise with government authorities, provide monthly updates to the ministry, and handle press briefings and press releases.
- Stay updated on AI technologies and trends, particularly in the Indian AI sector, and develop insightful reports and analyses.
- Ensure adherence to editorial guidelines while maintaining high-quality content standards.
- Oversee content management systems (CMS) to ensure efficient organization and timely publication of AI-related content.
- Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to create impactful content aligned with IndiaAI’s goals.
- Identify and onboard agencies for branding, advertisements, and merchandise development.
- Conceptualize and execute a comprehensive branding strategy in alignment with IndiaAI’s mission.
- Prepare and manage an annual media and communication budget in line with organizational requirements.
