As a Fare Filing Distribution Specialist, you’ll play a crucial part in managing and updating fare information for airlines and travel companies. Key Responsibilities

1. Fare Filing in ATPCO
- Input and update fare data in the ATPCO system based on the information provided.
- Ensure fare rules and conditions are applied correctly.
2. Rule Management
You’ll manage and update fare rule conditions such as:
- Eligibility
- Date/Time restrictions
- Seasonality
- Flight Applications
- Advance Purchase
- Surcharges
- Blackout periods
- Automated fare changes and cancellations
- Routing maps and footnotes
3. Specialized Fare Filing Tasks
- Work on complex fare elements, including YQ/YR surcharges, optional services, branded fares, and fare charts.
4. Quality Assurance and GDS Expertise
- Conduct quality checks in systems like Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre to ensure fare data is correct.
- Troubleshoot fare pricing issues and ensure consistent application of rules.
5. World Geography and Fare Construction
- Apply your knowledge of world geography to validate fare data and ensure accuracy in fare construction.
6. Industry Awareness
- Stay up-to-date with industry changes, particularly ATPCO procedures and global trends in fare management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree or equivalent.
Experience & Expertise:
- 2-5 years of experience in fare filing or a related domain.
- Hands-on knowledge of ATPCO and GDS systems like Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
Other Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure fare accuracy and consistency.
