  4. Senior Translation Officer / Senior Hindi Translator

Eligibility Requirements for Various Positions

Candidates interested in applying for the following roles must meet the specified qualifications, experience, and age criteria:

1. Finance Officer

  • Officials employed in Central or State Government departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Semi-Government bodies, or institutions with statutory, autonomous, or society-based frameworks, possessing:
  • A recognized university graduate degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in administration, finance, accounts, audit, budgeting, or related financial operations.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Presently occupying a position equivalent to Level-11 in the pay scale of ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 on a regular basis. OR
  • Minimum 7 years of service in Level-9 (₹53,100–1,67,800). OR
  • Minimum 8 years of service in Level-8 (₹47,600–1,51,100).

2. Administrative Officer

Officials working in Central or State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Semi-Government organizations, or Autonomous bodies.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Currently occupying a Level-9 (₹53,100–1,67,800) equivalent role on a regular basis. OR
  • A minimum of three years of continuous service in Level-7 of the pay matrix (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400).

3. Assistant

Qualifications & Experience: Applicants must be presently working in one of the following:

  • Central or State Government departments
  • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
  • Semi-Government organizations
  • Autonomous or Statutory Societies

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Option 1: Currently employed in a Level-6 position (Pay Scale: ₹35,400–₹1,12,400) on a permanent basis.
  • Option 2: A minimum of 10 years of continuous service in Level-4 of the pay matrix (₹25,500 – ₹81,100).

4. Senior Translation Officer / Senior Hindi Translator

Qualifications & Experience: Applicants should be serving officers from:

  • Central/State Governments or Union Territories (UTs)
  • Universities or Recognized Research Institutions
  • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) or Autonomous Bodies

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Option 1: Currently occupying an equivalent post in their parent cadre/department on a regular basis.
  • Option 2: At least 3 years of service in Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) or an equivalent grade, following regular appointment.

Educational Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Hindi or English from a recognized university, with the other language studied as either a compulsory or elective subject, or used as the medium of instruction.ORA Master’s degree in any field (excluding Hindi/English), with Hindi or English as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of instruction.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for each post is based on the Level in Pay Matrix and is as follows:

  1. Finance Officer
    • Level-11 (Rs. 67,700-208,700)
  2. Administrative Officer
    • Level-9 (Rs. 53,100-1,67,800)
  3. Assistant
    • Level-6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)
  4. Senior Translation Officer / Senior Hindi Translator

In addition to the salary, the selected candidates will be entitled to other allowances and benefits as per the rules of the Institute and the Government of India, including dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and medical benefits.

Selection Process

1. Initial Screening

The Screening Committee will conduct a detailed review of all submitted applications to ensure they meet the specified eligibility requirements. Should the number of eligible applicants exceed requirements, the Institute retains the right to implement additional shortlisting parameters based on the specified qualifications and experience.

2. Interview Stage

3. Final Selection
