Educational Qualifications

1. Post-Graduation:
   • Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Hindi, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
2. Professional Qualification:
   • A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
3. Additional Qualifications:
   • Candidates should have studied Hindi and English as one of the subjects at the secondary or higher secondary level.
4. CTET Qualification:
   • Although not mandatory for PGT roles in DSSSB, candidates who qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be given preference in selection.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:
   • Post-Graduation: Candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
   • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.): A B.Ed. degree is mandatory for all candidates applying for the PGT Teacher posts.
2. Age Limit:
   • The age of the candidate must not exceed 36 years as of the specified cutoff date.
   • Age Relaxation:
     • OBC: 3 years
     • SC/ST: 5 years
     • PwD: 10 years
3. Nationality:
   • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
4. Other Requirements:

5. Selection Process:

Role and Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:

3. Classroom Management:

Selection Process

The selection process for PGT Teacher posts under Delhi DSSSB Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages:

1. Written Examination:
   • Tier 1 (Objective Type): The written exam will be conducted in multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. It will assess candidates on topics like General Awareness, General Intelligence, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, English Language, and Subject-Specific Knowledge.
   • Tier 2 (Subject-Specific): Candidates will be tested on their specific subject knowledge (relevant to the PGT post applied for). The questions will assess the depth of the candidate’s subject expertise.
2. Document Verification:
   • After successfully qualifying the written examination, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. This is to verify the authenticity of the candidates’ educational qualifications, experience, age, and other necessary documents.
