Vacancy Details

CONCOR has advertised a total of 6 posts for the positions of Group General Manager (C&O), Senior General Manager (C&O), and General Manager (C&O). These posts will be allocated as follows:

1. Group General Manager (C&O) – 133 Posts (Delhi)
2. Senior General Manager (C&O) – 100 Post (Kolkata)
3. General Manager (C&O) – 210 Post (Chennai)
4. General Manager (C&O) – 111 Post (Vishakhapatnam)

These positions are available on a deputation basis and are open to SAG/SG and JAG/SG officers from the IRTS cadre who meet the requisite experience criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these posts, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:
  Must possess relevant qualifications as per the parent department’s norms.
• Professional Experience:
  Practical experience in marketing, commercial, and operational activities within the railways sector is mandatory.
• Age Limit:
  Candidates must be below 54 years of age as of the closing date of the vacancy notice (13th May 2025).
• Service and Experience Requirements:
  • Group General Manager (C&O):
    Must be slack/ SG officers from the IRTS skeleton with a minimum of 17 times of Group” A” service experience.
  • Senior General Manager (C&O):
    Must be SG officers from the IRTS skeleton, having completed 14 years but lower than 17 years of Group” A” service.
  • General Manager (C&O):
    Should be JAG/SG officers from the IRTS cadre with at least 9 years of Group “A” service.

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will be entitled to the following IDA Pay Scale based on their designated post:

1. Group General Manager (C&O) (E-8) – ₹1,20,000-3%-2,80,000
2. Senior General Manager (C&O) (E-7) – ₹1,00,000-3%-2,60,000
3. General Manager (C&O) (E-6) – ₹90,000-3%-2,40,000

Additionally, the officer will draw the salary of the parent department plus a deputation allowance as per existing government directives.

Selection Process

The selection process for these positions will involve a screening of candidates by a Screening Committee, as nominated by the Competent Authority. The selection will be based on the following parameters:

1. Professional Ability: 30 Marks
2. Experience: 20 Marks
3. Seniority: 20 Marks
4. APAR: 30 Marks

The final selection will be based on a 100-point scale, and the candidates’ suitability will be assessed in accordance with the job requirements.
