Age Relaxation
- Bihar Government Employees: Up to 5 years (minimum 3 years of regular service required)

Salary Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary as per Bihar Government norms along with additional allowances.

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of multiple stages designed to assess knowledge, physical fitness, and suitability for the role.
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

- Questions: 100
- Time Duration: 2 hours
- Subject: General Knowledge and Current Affairs
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30%
Candidates qualifying in this stage will be shortlisted approximately 20 times the number of vacancies.
Stage 2: Main Examination
The main examination is divided into two papers.
Paper I – General Hindi
- Marks: 200
- Nature: Qualifying only
- Minimum Marks Required: 30%
Marks obtained in this paper will not be included in the final merit list.
Paper II – General Studies

Performance in Paper II will determine eligibility for the next stage.
Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test
Candidates shortlisted from the main examination will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test.
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates
- Running: 1.6 km in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- High Jump: Minimum 4 feet
- Long Jump: Minimum 12 feet
- Shot Put: 16-pound shot, minimum 16 feet
For Female Candidates
- Running: 1 km in 6 minutes
- High Jump: Minimum 3 feet
- Long Jump: Minimum 9 feet
- Shot Put: 12-pound shot, minimum 10 feet
A maximum of three attempts is allowed for jump and shot put events.
Final Merit List
- Prepared based on Main Examination (Paper II) marks only
- Minimum qualifying percentages:
- SC / ST / Women: 32%
- EBC: 34%
- BC: 36.5%
- General: 40%
A negative marking of 0.2 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.
