The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Bhubaneswar, a reputed organization under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, proposes to engage eligible candidates for a research-based position under the project titled “Medico-Ethno-Botanical Survey (MEBS) of Gandhamardan Hills, Odisha”. The position is strictly contractual and offered on a temporary tenure. The institute is conducting a Walk-In-Interview for this post, which will be held at its Bharatpur office, Near Kalinga Studio, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
- M.Sc. in Botany from any recognized university with at least 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications
- Specialization in Plant Taxonomy.
- Previous research experience in the area of Ethnobotany.
- Working knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office and data entry.
- Skill in drafting and editing scientific/technical/official reports and documents.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: Should not be more than 35 years as of the date of the walk-in interview.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Salary and Emoluments
- Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: ₹37,000/-
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): As admissible under Central Government norms.
The remuneration is fixed and will be subject to relevant taxes and deductions. Additional benefits such as travel allowance, dearness allowance, medical facilities, etc., will not be provided.
Selection Process
The selection will be made purely through Walk-In-Interview, which may also include a written test, depending on the number of applicants.
