Bihar Swastha Vibhag (Bihar State Health Society) has recently announced the recruitment for the post of Community Health Officers (CHO) on a contractual basis under the National Health Mission (NHM). Application Fee

The application fee for Bihar CHO Recruitment 2025 varies according to the category of the candidate. The fee payment can be made via online methods such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or offline through E-Challan. The fee structure is as follows:

  • General, OBC, EWS: Rs. 500
  • SC, ST, PH: Rs. 250
  • All Category Female: Rs. 250

Educational Qualification

  • B.Sc (Nursing) with the successful completion of the six-month integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an institution recognized by the Indian/State Nursing Council (from the academic year 2019-2020 onwards).
  • Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) with the successful completion of six-month integrated curriculum of Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from a recognized institution.
  • Alternatively, candidates with General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and a completed Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) are also eligible for the position.
